Bluegrass Review Jan 13-Jan 19, 2018 #1803

Early on the show we present a Gem of Bluegrass concerned with some of the musical sounds heard on records. Some seem like fads, but others display the evolution of bluegrass music. Later on the show, we present our interview with Barbara martin Stephens, author of Don’t Give Your Heart to a Rambler: My Life with Jimmy Martin the King of Bluegrass. Barbara was the partner and business icon for first-generation bluegrass performer Jimmy Martin, and Barbara tells all about living and working with Jimmy, and reflects on the bluegrass industry in its early days.
