Bluegrass Review Dec 16-Dec 22, 2017 #1751

After some new bluegrass to open the show, we play a couple of songs that reference “folks.” In bluegrass songs, “folks” are not exactly the same as “people”. The Gem of Bluegrass tracks subtle rhythmic changes in the evolution that come from rock music. Later, we present a musical conversation with Jesse Iaquinto, singer and songwriter for the Fireside Collective. Jesse shares with us some of his road songs, and his changing views of life on the road.
