Bluegrass Review Oct 7, 2017-Oct 13, 2017 (second hour) #1641

There are lots of songs about trains, and at least two with the name Old Train. We spin them. We focus on a new tune by Grascals banjoist Kristin Scott Benson, and her inspiration for it. On the Gem of Bluegrass, we present some notes on the relationship of bluegrass to pop. And later, we play songs that demonstrate some of the connections between bluegrass and country.
