Bluegrass Review July 1, 2017-July 7, 2017 #1727

The show opens with new bluegrass from the record labels. Then, our Gem of Bluegrass treats the connections between bluegrass and America. The greatest connections are not in song lyrics, but in the vlues-driven backstories. Bluegrass and old-time music receive inspiration from its heritage of music. We play some youthful players’ tunes that follow traditional patters, and some that push the envelope.
