Bluegrass Review July 1, 2017-July 7, 2017 (second hour) #1627

Suddenly there is a group of new bluegrass recordings to play, so we spin some of the finest of the new crop. Bluegrass music has a singular niche in the music world. But distinctive as bluegrass may sound, it comes from many sources. We comment on that during the Gems of Bluegrass feature. Bluegrass music is often compared to jazz because in both idioms, musical lines interweave. We play a couple of great bluegrass examples of interweaving lines during bluegrass songs old and new.
