Bluegrass Review June 3, 2017-June 9, 2017 (second hour) #1623

What would anyone give to replay something in the past with the benefit of what’s been learned along the way? A couple of songs on that theme open our broadcast. Then, on the Gem of Bluegrass, we discuss some of the complexities of traditional bluegrass music. In the second half of the show, we consider urban bluegrass, including what the songs are about and where the singers hail from. As it seems so often, things are not always what they seem to be.
