Bluegrass Review May 27, 2017-June 2, 2017 (second hour) #1622

Our first order of business today is to play a new bluegrass song from an experienced source, Jeff White. In the current state of evolving bluegrass, we play a couple of recent songs with similar and wistful moods. On our Gem of Bluegrass, we consider bluegrass realism. It is almost always describes hard situations. But love, romance and happiness can be real, too, so we play some songs that describe these. Later we talk to David Grier, a veteran guitar player with a distinctive soloing voice.
