Bluegrass Review May 13, 2017-May 19, 2017 #1720

Bluegrass music concerns itself with farm work. Many, including those on this show concern themselves with how hard the work is. The Gem of Bluegrass focuses on a type of tune that is an instrumental high point of North American traditional music: fiddle dance tunes. Later, we talk to Gretchen Priest may and Tim May about their compositions, and how the react to their tunes being performed by others, including a symphony orchestra.
