Bluegrass Review March 25, 2017-March 31, 2017 #1713

Our show begins with a couple of songs where the singers, tired of seemingly being hit from all sides, all the time, seek getting away from it all. Our Gem of Bluegrass focuses on what it traditional in bluegrass lyrics. It isn’t only the inheritance of old songs. Today, we feature a musical conversation with fiddler Randy Sabien. Randy, sings, plays, composes, and teaches. He loves traditional music, but his greatest attribute as a player is that he is a musical omnivore. We listen to him play and hear his story.
